From the CEO
I spent the first half of my professional life selling hi-tech products to Fortune 500 companies. I could never understand why corporate marketing did not give me the tools to complement the corporate "air cover" marketing campaigns with locally initiated campaigns. After all, I knew my local customers' needs very well.
As fate would have it I spent the second half of my professional life in corporate marketing responsible for worldwide marketing. I realized that with limited staff and budget corporate marketing could never support to their satisfaction every individual in a geographically dispersed field organization.
My colleagues in other companies and I had high hopes that CRM [Customer Relationship Management] was our silver bullet.
We were not that lucky.
I then decided to start a company that would bridge the gap between corporate marketing and the field. The company needed to offer a web-based solution that was fast to deploy, easy to use and cost effective.
I knew sales and marketing. I needed someone who grew with the web and with a clear vision of how to leverage the latest web-technology. I didn't have to look far, Mike Corneille was that person.
